Help comes in many forms, i.e. listening, being aware of others, acceptance and finding the right course of treatment.
As story that was shared.
A dear long time friend, who has been an avid runner for 20+ years.
As life happened, her anxiety and depression symptoms increased. On those days when getting out of bed seemed hard, she pushed herself to run. A run could be a jog around the block or a few miles. In conjunction with treatment, it has helped clear her mind.
As her journey continued, she was a little braver in speaking up about her day to day angst. Come to find out she was not alone. Feeling compelled to make a difference for the many going through the same situation she wanted to share her story. How better to do that than to create a healthy venue for people like her.
We must remember those who stand beside us through everything. They are watching, supporting and sometimes feeling helpless from the sidelines. This is also tough.
Together, we will walk/run to speak out and make others aware.
Come share the road to a healthier you.
